JunJunJumps!

Days in the life of JunJun and Beb.... Since we noticed folks were getting whiplash trying to catch up with us, we figured freezing ourselves in time and space would be a good thing. Don't forget to surf the Archives! ;)

Back in NYC....is it for real?

The weather was actually.....warm! Who ordered the sun and warmth? Not that we were complaining but we were expecting to be seriously bundling up again as we arrived at JFK. Needless to say, we were greeted by a warm and pleasant day!

We headed to Scarsdale to spend the night with the Millmans. We missed Jessie's Bar Mitzvah due to the freaky cold weather NYC had so we were fortunate enough that the airlines allowed us to change our flight back to CA without any fee! So now we got a chance to see them all! For those not-in-the-know, Beb took care of Jessie when he was three while she was attending Sarah Lawrence. They have bonded and we have been in touch. 10 years later, Jessie celebrated his Bar Mitzvah!

NYC in August of 2002!

Check out the lucky bamboo from 2002....
...now in 2007!

Jessie ....

...and Rebecca in 2002

Now in 2007! My o my how time flew and how much they have grown! We loved every minute of our stay with Karen, Rob, Jessie, and Rebecca. We got a chance to catch up (in a New York minute) and watch Jessie's video of his very impressive Bar Mitzvah ceremony. It was fantastic and awe-inspiring to see him command the crowd's attention to his speech and recitations from the Torah---in Hebrew even! We had a great dinner and reminisced some more before long, it was already the next day's morning and we were on our way back home. We love you guys and hope to see you again soon (and for a longer time)!
