JunJunJumps!

Days in the life of JunJun and Beb.... Since we noticed folks were getting whiplash trying to catch up with us, we figured freezing ourselves in time and space would be a good thing. Don't forget to surf the Archives! ;)

Happy Valentine's Day!

In celebration of this beautiful day, we are sharing some cool pictures taken of us (which are very rare) in action during a modeling session with a local artist named Anne Reichardt. I have worked with her before with Brendan (fellow dancer) but it is the first time for both me and Jess to work together in a photoshoot. Anne does some impressive things with her photos. She does some photoshop magic, prints them, then uses pigments from Rembrandt's palette to paint over. Check out "The Selfless Space".

"The Selfless Space"
by Anne Reichardt

We were nervous at first as we weren't sure what direction Anne wanted us to go. The space we were in was freezing too (an Aikido dojo in Monterey). Anne was a former psychologist now artist and wanted to explore the concepts of spirals and the connection between two people--love, aggression, heat, tenderness. So we put on some loud music (Mary J. Blige) and let it rip. Let's say we had lots of fun and the pictures turned out great. We are hoping she can use them!

You will need to visit us to see the entire album!

Love lots!
