Ljubljana part two
One wonderful thing about this particular conference that I was attending was that it was very very organized. They had really cool excursions for all of the attendees and took care of everything from transportation to food. This excursion was to the infamous caves of Postojna. Yeah right I thought. We are going spelunking...woo hoo. But boy did I ever ate my words. The Postojna caves are HUGE! You can literally sink a few city blocks, including buildings, into the caves. Millions of years of water coursing through the rocks have carved the most amazing caverns and dripping minerals forming the most amazing stalactites and stalagmites. One of the attendees actually spelunks a lot around the globe and said that it was the best cave she has been in. Enjoy the shots!

Just in front of the entrance to the caves of Postojna....they were renting out these coats that look like belonged to the Von Trapp family..
We were a few hundred folks in the conference now piling into these carts that brought us about a kilometer into the cave network. It felt like a ride in Disneyland but it just kept going...
Squint hard enough and you will see the throngs of people coursing through the first hill of the cavern. Absolutely spellbinding.

Hope you didn't step in any guano.
