Days in the life of JunJun and Beb.... Since we noticed folks were getting whiplash trying to catch up with us, we figured freezing ourselves in time and space would be a good thing. Don't forget to surf the Archives! ;)
 

Leaving Taiwan....

Finally, a picture of me working. Here I am presenting our company's breadth of technologies to an auditorium of professors and students. I hate wearing the company shirt--never fits right!

First stop, Tan Tsi noodles!


Apparently this noodle shop is very famous in Tainan and has been around for decades. Once poor man's food where a bowl of soup is less than a dollar (still was), it has now a cool restaurant with neo-asian decor but still with the same yummy food.

Off to the next shop!

We harkened to a shop famous for its shrimp rolls. Yummy with the wasabi/hot sauce and washed down with a bit of shrimp ball soup. The place was packed!

Li Ly's ice -- another famous shop in Tainan. This was around 10:30 pm, filled with customers waiting for their shaved ice desserts to foil the night's heat. I had a bowl of shaved ice with tropical fruit while the gang had sweet beans. It was definitely famous for a reason.
So how can you finish off the evening? Massage! Boy this was amazing. They are open 24 hours a day and have amazing masseuses. All 5 of us changed into robes and were treated to an hour of destressing massage healing. The woman who was massaging me had the strongest hands---and I have had my share of massages. She was very very good. She was even massaging through a towel mind you. We all felt renewed and refreshed after an hour of bliss--all for about 35 dollars!
My last hotel shot. I stayed in this hotel for 6 hours before taking the 3-hour car ride to Taipei.
Bye Taipei!
The moon outside my window as we passed the International Dateline.
I am finally coming home!
