JunJunJumps!

Days in the life of JunJun and Beb.... Since we noticed folks were getting whiplash trying to catch up with us, we figured freezing ourselves in time and space would be a good thing. Don't forget to surf the Archives! ;)

Winding down July...

Tis the weekend to be in SC. We were in to visit Jen for her sis' surprise bday party. While Beb was on that, I was spending some time with our dearest, newly-married Juanita. I spent the afternoon chatting with her and getting to meet her latest charges---sweet girls of four she is babysitting for. They were very adorable. One girl was one quarter caucasian, one quarter african american, and one half mexican---beautiful.
So once the parents came to pick them up, we were off for a little walk to the beach.
I have not seen the ocean in a while.

SC beach boardwalk with their free summertime concerts. What a gorgeous day to be on the beach.

After the trek, I bid goodbye to Juanita and met up with a friend from Capoeira, Kitfox for dinner at Aqua Bleu. After some righteous grub and chat, I was off to see my mestre and his band, SambaDa at Moe's Alley. The place was packed and was rocking!

I was soaked to the bone with so much dancing with fellow capoeira friends who were happy to see a long lost friend.

The next day, we took Juanita out for lunch at the ever yummy Sri.
It was soooo good to have their kale/coconut/mushroom masala/chicken curry/ginger rice heaven with a side of divine super salad rolls with mango chutney. WOW!

After all that, we just had to walk our dear West Cliff drive for old times' sake.
sunny and breezy and fine

Lovely :)

We then had a repast of italian sodas at Kelly's French bakery and slowly headed home.

Back to SF the next day with a jaunt downhill to Union St with handfuls of crepe :)
